It's been raining cats, dogs, mice, rats and fishes these days.

I even named my fish after the lightning and thunder.

Nothing beats the nice weather to sleep and nap. No wonder animals hibernate.

How come we humans don't have to hibernate? Heck, even our laptops are allowed to hibernate!

This is injustice of the human kind! We're lack of sleep! That's when vandalism, rape cases, robbery happens!!

All because we don't have enough sleep!
Since when homo sapiens been away almost half a day, everyday?!

See? It's been like this for 5 days already.
Since we're not like bears, we can at least use 5 days of hibernating. It's enough, it's not too much.
Sure, like 5 days can cost you 4 digits of earnings?

Think about 5 days savings from petrol, food consumption, and utilities usage?
If humans hibernate for 5 days each year, or periodically..

Think about how much we help reduce global warming? Pollution? or some damage you cause to your planet?

But he called not for that. He asked me to join his Tug of War competition.
So, logically.. I stop gym for 3 month, adding all kind of physical exercise other than moving my thumbs and fingers on my laptop and games.

How in the world I can actually compete with some Utarians from Klang Valley?
Especially the opponents training involve pulling trees!!

I guess I've to post up all my What's Happening post before I can post all my shit load stuff.
Cause now my mind is full of shit load ideas.

Yes, my mind is full of shit, thanks to life experience, shit friends, craps and loos.

Anyway, this might be the 2nd time I rewrite this post.
The connection in Kampar, moves like a herd of cows.

Anyway, I said that I'll visit Penang again.
Just that the last trip me and Elaine was followed by light bulbs everywhere.

So this time we brought along a mate.

We stayed at Kuok's place, again.
I find his house unique, not only it's a coffee shop house, it's also house for the birds.
HUH? house of birds?
To keep the saliva lor.

Anyway, I know a way to make fake bird nest.
Since it's make of saliva of a bird.
IF you use your own goo, accumulate all of it and at a little sugar.
It'll look exactly like the bird nest. Just that no feather or what ever.
Nobody would know.

This Penang trip is my opportunity to get the fish I left out the last trip.
And fishes that didn't make it back to Kampar.

I admit I'm a little obsessed with fishes.
They even sing "why are you so obsessed with me" song while I'm there.
The song stuck in my head now, and image of fish too.

Catchy, catchy.

And buy.

The last trip we didn't even visit the beach, or watch the sunset.

But the sky was dark up the hills, so we didn't go to Batu Feringgi.
We just stop by at some random beach just for the sake for..beach.

Don't mind my leg, I'm just doing what Natalie was doing. Just that I exaggerated.

We stayed less than 10 mins. Get some pictures and it started raining.

Oh by the way, mein kuok is quite popular, he meets people wherever he go.
He goes to the beach, he met friends.
He goes pet shops, he met friends.
He goes grocery stores, he met friends.
He goes walking by the street, he met friends.
He goes movies, he met friends.
He goes toilet, he met friends.
He go home, he met friends.

But then again, it's a small island.

Penang with Kuok and Cheah Family

This is how I begin my holidays,

Get drunk,
Sleep,
Wakes up and have breakfast,
Pack,
and drive.
All the way north to Penang. Courtesy of Mein Kuok.
The whole idea was to provide Kuok transport back to his hometown, visits Penang's known fish shops and try to entertain my girlfriend.
and apparently my gf doesn't favor fishes much heh heh. I like trips, especially when I'm driving. No particular reasons, so shut up if you hate my driving. I've a clean record just so you know!
And Penang has it's name for the most dangerous place to drive.
I have to agree, but I was told I drive like one too.

Staying with Mein Kuok isn't so bad. Nice house, nostalgic experience.
Nice Hainan food.
Smelly dogs,
Cursing siblings,
manly father and sweet mother.
Reasonable but some weird layouts.
There are 3 toilets, everyone only uses one.
Cause the rest doesn't have loos.

Oh, I don't visit Penang much, so I know nothing about the roads, shopping malls and food streets or whatever you call it.

Kuok is a sweet person, I dare say this. He doesn't act sweet but, deep in his heart.. everything he does, he do it for his girl.
Serious.
He cooks, for his girl.
He reads, for his girl.
He bath nice smell all, for his girl.
He keeps snakes, for his girl.
He sells snakes, for his girl.
He kept hamsters but dislikes em', for his girl.
He shaves, for his girl.
He act girly, for his girl.

He curse, for his girl.
He cleans, for his girl.
He poops, for his girl.
He do push ups, for his girl.

Back to Penang, we visited 3 fish shops, the others are not worth mentioning.
And fish are cheap! They are like, land of tropical fishes which they smile and sell you 10 sharks for the price of one Ikan Kembung.
They will smile, cause they're serious.

Oh, The Cheah family have ducks too.
Ain't they adorable?

They came and didn't ask for a tour around Kampar... how sad..

But lucky coz I had a very... how to say.. weird dream. And it's not a nightmare... it''s just weird.. you know, like those kind that you really liked it and you know it wouldn't happen...

but this trip proved me half wrong, and I not gonna tell you why =)

They arrived Kampar town at 11am, had breakfast and Hann was my driver.. along with Tien Qi and Sam.. who don't even speak to me hmph!!

So I read Hann's bible instead... yes the bible..

Stay at Hotel Malaysia, it was okay... till the next day coz of some stuff...So we hang out in our room, watch TV while some of them played mah jong in the next room..while waiting for Mak and Soung to arrive...
And guess what we're watching? Gambling God, the oldest version.. which teach you how to play cheat in Mah Jong..

So Mak and Soung were here... we went up to Batu Feringgi (how ever you spell it)

Tien Qi and Chee Yong didn't join us, so while the girls do a little camwhore... the guys..

Play with the girls stuff, don't blame us.. we just want to know how it's like being Paris Hilton.. and so there's a new couple in Penang... Jordan with Mei Wan's handbag, Sam's purse and shades..

So while the girls and Mak, hanging around with the DJ-ians.. yeap they were here too.. what a coincidence.. dance and dance.. some even missed mah jong so much they dance like they were playing...

The next morning

Mak and Soung woke up early, they had this English exam thingy so I finally had a chance to sleep on the bed.. until Sam came along~ OH NO

This is what happen when Hann brushes his teeth... the whole toilet floor was covered with foam... BOTH TOILET and it all happen after Hann uses the toilet...

Either he had rabies or he use some kind of strong acid Listerine...

The room was all covered with chocolate wrappers, thanks to Hann too =)

Ok lar, I'm MADLY OBSESSED WITH FISH!!
There I said it.

My blog is filled with me fishing and my fishes and crappy loads.
But that is just me.

Meet my old Oscar fish.
I named it after me/Ming/Nian/Jordan.
I couldn't recall cause that was sometime ago.
It didn't die.
I trade 3 of my red tiger Oscar with 2 albino Oscars and 2 tiger Oscars.

Surprisingly the four new Oscars never give me trouble.
Other than their rapid growing size.

Albino Oscar, me and Elaine named it Tattoo.

This is Shadow, tiger Oscar. It used to be called Strip but now this fish start lurking around in darkness.. I can't even see it swimming around anymore.

A little shy la, Oscars have personalities too you know.

This is Tattoo, we named it because... well duh it's markings looks like tattoo to us.

Keeping fish is a big responsibility,
You don't change water often, they will die.
You don't feed them, they eat each other.
You put any fish that fit in their mouth, they will eat.
You put live plants, they reap them off.
You put tiny gravels, they redecorate your tank.

Here's another Cichlid. It was labeled Yellow Prince Cichlid.
I bought 3, two of them start to pair up. But I doubt they will survive,
Cause if the pair sense any threat of what so ever,

Blue Cichlid don't look so blue anymore. I have 2 of this, but one didn't make it. I fed the wrong thing.

Gourami, they are like cockroaches in water.
They explore. They are curious to anything you add into the tank.
And they will feel them with the 2 antenna thingy at the bottom of their belly.

Yes, those 2 antenna look exactly like cockroaches antenna.

This is called Green Terror. Another didn't make it on the way back from Penang.
It's 2 inch big now. It can grow up to 8 inches and look like a flowerhorn.
If it's male then it's head will grow a hump. Females love humpy stuff.

As long if they are hard, humpy body structures.
Girls dig it.

I've 2 of the Plecos. This one is injured.

That's all the fishes in the 4feet tank. It is mainly based on Cichlid species.

The light was just temporary, the original was wrecked by the albino barb.

Most fishes in side may outgrow the tank.
So what I'm currently doing now may offend some of fish keepers whom's gonna read this post.

Meet Ally Gar Gar.
Many people mistaken this fish as alligator gar.
It is actually a longnose gar.
It can grow up to 4feet long. And eat human.

This is a mean fish. If only you can see the sharp teeth.

This is WeiZy. A marble goby, locally known as Ikan Ketutu, Soon Hock, Ikan Hantu etc.
Chinese delicacy. It's just 2 half inches long. Kept for the fun, it's free maaaa!!

I gave to Jordan but he didn't keep it in the end.
So... you know la..
Anyway it's named after WeiZhi cause of the fish laziness.
This fish is seriously lazy, you can actually catch the fish with your bare hands just like that.

This is Dragon. A bichir.
I was introduced this fish by a Kampar noodle store. Amazed by the graceful-ness of it's swimming style resembling a dragon in flight.
Resemble snakes with fins. There's no way I can resist not getting this fish.

anyway, it's carnivorous. They eat prawns, earthworms, and small fish.

I breed them for profits.

This is the cross breed of Molly and Swordtails - according to Mein Kuok.
Can be found in my livebearers fish tub.

Just got it not long ago. Still don't feed on pellets and stuff I gave him.
Well hope it don't eat up the baby fishes.

The tank on the right is my convict breeding tank. Results are showing between the pair, pink belly and all.
Oh, convicts are black and white Cichlids.
The most aggressive little fish ever.
Hope they spawn or I'll dispose them.

The 4 feet tank was suppose to be a natural tank. Doesn't seem to work at my first attempt.
Algae bloom. Water turn green. Heat Fluctuation.
It ain't easy.

Next, these are still under construction.
I've no idea what should I do with the blue tub.
The cement tank on the far left is another guppy breeding tank. Can't really see the results.
The right tub is for breeding worms.

YES,, YOU HEARD ME, WORMS.
Earthworms. and yes, they can be breed.
I'm not telling you how!!

But I bet you don't want to know either.

Well that's so much of the animals in my house.

Soon or later, maybe a year or so.. my house might be infested with mice and rats.

Because next door, has a rodent breeding chamber.

There are around 50 rodents in there. And some of them are pregnant.

Kampar Waterfall

I don't know what I could really share out in this post.
It's a dilemma. I've been having dilemma.
But somehow I've made my decision.

31st of October.
Due to my inner desires to explore and try out extraordinary things,
I decided to bring Elaine to picnic.

Sure, picnic, we had that during the holidays.

But I'm bringing her to Batu Berangkai waterfall for a picnic
Jealous ah?

Lucky enough, she's willing to tolerate with my interest.
Such as fishing.

I took her prawn as bait.
We suppose to breed ghost prawns as well.

Caught any fish? Nay..

A small picnic, we bought some butter cake from the local famous butter cake shop.
and some snacks and drinks.

Ever seen a poodle that swims?

Surprise? It's a toy poodle! And I love dogs that can swim.
Next time I should keep one of those small dogs, and teach them not to get drown.
My current dogs even scared of water, they often run and hide even when I refill their bowl.
Talk about giving them bathes.

The waters from the waterfall. Clear and cold.

This place, Batu Berangkai waterfalls.. have took many lives.
Some locals, and a few of those lives,
One of them is my friend.

Three Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman undergraduates drowned after they were swept away by strong current at the Batu Berangkai waterfalls yesterday(1st of November 2009)

The dead have been identified as James Khor Wan Kai, 20; Yew Shy Gin, 19 and Yew Ghim Chnieh, 20.

A fourth student was rescued by a villager.

The three had gone to the waterfalls for a swim, the fourth was late. But when he was about to step into the water catching up with his mates, a sudden gush of water caused him to tumble in.

Three of them had gone into the water and the fourth student was about to follow them when a sudden gush of water caused him to tumble in.

A Kampar villager, who saw this, rushed over and pulled out the fourth student.

The survivor, 22 years old, do not wish to named.

He'd suffered cuts and bruises.

James Khor, however.. had an impact on the head.
And passed away.

Today, the whole lecture hall speaks of his name.
Some were sobbing. Some had an impact of the incident.

As for me, James Khor was a friend, no more no less.
He hasn't gave me any significances in my life.
But even for that, his death caused a blow.
For such a simple friend could do that kind of damage.

How would it be, if it's someone closer?

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

If you think city people brought me up to Penang is boring..

EVEN fishing and lata kinjang couldn't impress you...

Then I'll tell you what I do, I went exploring!!!!!!!!!!! Fuuuh, took us 20mins to climb up the hill, I nearly fainted.. REALLY... the hill was...

nuts.. the whole journey I was like.. this better worth all the pain in my arse!!! Therefore...

We park our bikes, and look out for a suitable area..everywhere was slippery and slimy.. and rocky and ... chikeny.. whatever that means..after all that, we found someplace suitable.. finally...
I gotta tell you, it's much more impressive than Lata Kinjang, and it's deep... waaaaay deeeeep..

During the weekdays it's so quiet, you can even study there~ and fish at the same time... THE fish here... is damn huge!!!

We don't just do fishing, we look for extreme places as well...

Now in our mind we thought of some place high..... ~~Cameron~~

Some place with lots and lots of water..... ~~Sungkai~~ So we divided into 2 cars, had our breakfast... and off we go..

to somewhere cold, wet, high and quite dangerous...

We planned to reach the peak and ~~jump~~ slide down to the very bottom!!!

Guess what we saw?!??! Rajah Brooke's Birdwing butterfly!!! One of my very favorite.. never actually seen it before!! Is actually damn big!! They're flying around so suddenly and I thought we could only find these butterflies in the Easter Malaysia..

Named after James Brooke, some fellow that used to rule Sarawak or something.. eh forgotten.

We couldn't reach the peak, because it's restricted... oh well at least we reach almost to the top... and there's quite a number of people plus the current is so strong that a single mistake will bring someone down... Jordan for example..
Adrian Jordan and me.... at the restricted bridge... They say there's an off track to the top of the waterfall, so we decided just to trek all the way up for fun...

and me.. being me.... first person went in to the cold water... the rest follows after 5 minutes or so... and I disappeared behind the waterfalls. So most of the time they couldn't look for me..

They thought I went all the way down or something...

Now this is damn dangerous, especially for the guys.. I hope you know why...

and there's some Malay guy.. that I don't know whether to state him dumb, or brave.. or both...

He sat at the most rocky area, and stay there until the current pushes him down... banging into a few rocks... and end up with minor bruises...

He did it more than 5 times...

Now Jordan... being Jordan.... Told you he started cam whoring... there are number of picture of him... lazy to post it up, waste of space.. don't tell me you want to see Jordan cam whore post...

There was this competition yesterday, SUKSES.. i been looking forward to this event quite some time... only craving for 1 thing.. which is not the medal... but the money...

yea.. this rich petaling is gonna offer us.. 13o bucks for just joining the event...

at first, i tot it was 75 bucks.. just like last 2 years ago..

but what i didn't assume was the MEDAL they are giving..

by looking at it... I'm having the urge to win, which i thought i could..

but as u take things for granted, the unexpected seems to come about.

1st placing would be impossible.. but it seems possible, if Hasrol would make the same faulty moves and not reach 36meters...

2nd placing would be Paul Yap, although is surprising for the fact he did not train for 3 month..

and 3rd placing would be...........

nope.. it's not me... in fact.. i got 5th!!

As far as it goes, i don't mind losing anyway, not to a friend of course...

i made a few mistakes by coming training and doing full blast the day before my events..as the result.. i couldn't perform 100% yesterday plus the fact i cycle home under a very... very..heavy rain yesterday.

it is good losing to a friend.. especially Paul, now i know how he felt whenever i beat him in all my discus event.

since now i put myself into his shoe... I'm glad that he had won instead of Arif.. his 'nemesis'

which won 3rd place... that proves Sukan Malaysia was wasting effort on him compared to Paul... which didn't undergo any complex trainings.

talking about all the winings...

of course.. some of you TAMAN SEA would recall that i was olahragawan 2006..

see my name there har?.. well i'm not bragging okays? seems that it looks like it.. =.=

you know how much i like those days, my lst year in my secondary school life and my glorious year..

erm.. ya. it says everything...

it shows that the THROWERS legacy is still alive... next year will be all over...
and... it may look like a box.. just an ordinary box..

but inside holds all my memories of the past..

yes.. my medals from my primary school to end of secondary school...

but then, compared to XINHUI's medal.. fuuh.. she totally owned me!~!!

i see most of them changed... and i see some of them.. well.. u know..

I was looking for my notebook that i hadn't use since last semester. Funny things is.. it disappeared. So while i was searching for it I found this.

First of all, I would like to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, XINHUI.

you heard her name before..yea i had mention her in the few post ago. It's 19th of October, and I couldn't forget her birth date because I can still remember last year's events as clearly as yesterday! I remember me and calvin couldn't celebrate birthday with her, because of the mis communication made by Yen tink.

I still remember we still went out for a small drink, a chance for us both to say happy birthday to her.

This year was different, and yet similar in a certain way.

I did not celebrate her birthday again. I have things to do and i couldn't attend. Last year i got her a deck of cards, not poker cards mind you. this year i got her a phone strap, but it looks more like a key chain.... something like...

but this year Calvin can join the party, if he want to. This year.. I'm in charge of the BBQ party, ironic i couldn't be there. I hope they will have fun!!

The month that I hated most, this year is a repeat scene of last year. The same feeling, the same heartbreak... almost the same people. But this time.,I was drifted alone.. not because there was nobody there for me instead I want it to be that way.

What do you expect from a month of fall?

If i had my camera, you could see a better view of Malaysia 'autumn' plus the rain.

A blink of an eye, it's already 10th month. New friends had been made... new enemies. Been through up and downs.. and a new season now. Semester 2 for my foundation years.. with a new hair look.
